It works!

I found this brand on the EWG website. I was skeptical that I could find a non-toxic brand that works, most are super sticky, don't work, or you still get odor. I am trying to replace all my toxic products after I had cancer. I am so happy that this really works. I love the texture of the deodorant, it's not sticky, and I didn't stink at the end of the day. I even had my daughter try it and she loved it too. At the end of the first day, I was so surprised and pleased that I tossed my old deodorant brand in the garbage (I had used the same brand since 6th grade, and I'm 51!). Also, delivery was super-fast. I am so happy that I found this product and I don't have to sacrifice my health to have stink free pits!

I try my best to purchase non-toxic products and live 'clean and green'. Deodorant is one of those products that is especially important to have clean ingredients because it is applied so close to the breast area, and in place that is often compromised due to shaving armpit hair. I've tried dozens of options over the last decade or so and while some may have been "clean" products, they did leave me nearly as stinky as I would have been with nothing on at all. My husband has a running joke with me (really mostly true) that he acquired an affinity to my body odor since my pits would always have a hippy-funk. After trying so many natural deodorants that left me stinky, my search continued and led me to Owl in a Towel. Initially, I was drawn in by the clean ingredients, and I was further intrigued by the hands-free application. I also found the name of the company to be adorable and charming. Most importantly, it has been the most effective natural deodorant to date at leaving me without body odor. Of course we are human, so unless you want to slather yourself in harmful ingredients, there is always going to be a less-than-freshness after a long jog or day at the beach. But for a day at work or running errands, I actually have no odor after all day with this on. My husband is my pit-sniff-tester when trying new products and after a 10-hour day using Owl in a Towel, he sniffed and said "less stinky than ever"! I think I found my forever deodorant brand!
